Whether you are planning a family reunion or group event- this unique lake experience will offer a fun filled day of water splashing enjoyment for the whole family!
Millions of gallons of clear spring water top the sandy bottom of a completely chlorinated, filtered, and chemically maintained by a state of the art purification system.
Bring in your own picnic meal or grab a tasty snack at the snack bar. Catering to churches, schools, youth groups and families, Burgers Lake does NOT allow alcoholic beverages of any kind in the park. Pets are also prohibited in order to provide a family friendly and sanitary experience.
I took my family to this unique venue several years ago rather than our “traditional water park excursion” of NRH20, Hawiian Falls or Hurricane Harbor for a change of pace and, was surprised that sun, sand and fun are much closer to my home than Arlington or North Richland Hills.
We are a water loving family who enjoy all sorts of water parks and although Burgers Lake doesn’t have tons of park attractions like the larger parks and pools offer, this event center is worth visiting and bringing your hot dogs and hamburgers for cooking out and spending the summer afternoon with friends and family.
It’s a step back in time with showers to rinse off the sand, ample parking and play areas in the lake for smaller children with a unique high dive situated over the low dive. Naturally, I stuck with the lower diving board, lol.
My brother in law, Steve Daniel, took a turn at the trapeze with disastrous results after waiting too long to let go but, all in all, the entire Texas Twins Team had a great day of family fun and adventure.
Normal yearly visits to area themed water parks often have me searching for everyone as they disperse immediately upon entering the park and, you can easily locate anyone at Burgers Lake which as a parent, I enjoyed not “running around” trying to find my son or family members more than I can say.
For a change of pace this summer, give Burgers Lake a try, you’ll be glad you did, summer fun is a short drive away.
