Recently, I received an email requesting a casino wedding at the location where the couple had met last year. The couple were having a difficult time finding a wedding officiant who would agree to the ceremony at their chosen location.
I love a casino baby! Viva Las Vegas or, in this case, viva Winstar.
The sounds of the machines, the excitement in the air and my favorite quarter machine were calling my name.
Cindy and I get so excited when we visit a casino, that we often play more than one machine at the same time until our husbands finally pull us off the machine to eat or leave. It’s relaxing for me to watch the numbers roll up and listen to the sounds of the other machines paying off and besides, nobody acts as goofy as my sister or I when we hit the Double Diamond or Jokers Wild.
There are also several vendors that can transform your venue into a casino themed event too.
I guess I must be more open minded than a few other Ministers when it comes to officiating a wedding but, I give couples the option to have their day- their way!
Of course a few of my weddings have been a variation of the “traditional” path but they were also some of the most memorable too.
I officiated a “Beauty and the Beast Themed Wedding” and there was the western ranch themed wedding where the maid of honor was a horse and, one where the dog gave the Bride away.
Using a little creativity when planning your wedding that steps away from the traditional church styled vows can be a little tricky in the planning stages but, have no fear I have the staff and outgoing event planning spirit to “get the party started” with you friend.
At Texas Twins Events it is my belief that whatever your desires may be, you can trust that your wishes are of the utmost importance to not only myself, but the Texas Twins Team as well.
